The Ukulele-Band UKULAYERS from Mannheim was put together in 2015 by musician Peter Tröster (tenor ukulele, lap-steel, harmonica, melodica) with with singer Maris Clemens (baritone ukulele), Mascha Grudina (concert ukulele), drummer and percussionist Ben Haug and Julia Donat (ukulele bass).

UKULAYERS mainly play their own, very varied, always memorable songs. With great virtuosity they designed their exciting and entertaining program „A Fanegadas“. In addition to gentle bluesy and jazzy tones, dance-driving, holiday-fever-inspiring, trendy and funky rhythms that convey fun and passion for the music that is on offer, combining complex rhythms with swinging solos and a voice that playfully alternates between restrained gentleness and dark volume.

On 30.05.2018 the first CD „A Fanegadas“ was released! The album features seven songs by Peter Tröster, as well as three cover songs. On 12.03.2019, the short film „A Fanegadas“ premiered.

The second CD „Favorite Room“ will be released in April 2020. Intergenerational, absolutely high quality and extremely varied – this is UKULAYERS
